Users of mobile applications have become sophisticated to the point where compelling design and an emotional connection can make or break a service. In this interactive session, discuss and discover what resources are available to help you develop well crafted applications, and declare what you require in order to help your application succeed.
Arabella’s session will present Forum Nokia’s current and planned resources for developers regarding design and user experience, and will gather input and desired resources from the development community.
Arabella David heads User Experience and Design in Forum Nokia. In 2000 she launched some of Finland’s first internet video services with TeliaSonera, Finland’s largest telecommunications operator. Subsequently she spearheaded the company’s jump to mobile video, developing and refining its design and content. After joining startup Shakaali as a producer in 2004, followed by a turn leading design and UI for messaging solutions company Tecnomen in 2005, Arabella joined Nokia in 2008.
in her spare time, Arabella produces, lectures and designs. She has been a producer for Eurovision and a lecturer with the Finnish design university TAIK, and you can find her creations in selected design stores throughout Helsinki.
